Ámbar and Emilia first met in Season 2/Episode 60, when both competed for their respective team in the semifinals of Roda Fest. Both showed hostility towards each other and were highly defensive of their teams. Both teams ended up succeeding to the final round, with The Sliders getting the higher score.
Later, in Season 2/Episode 73, after Ámbar got kicked out of the Jam & Roller Skating Team, she contacted Emilia to offer to join The Sliders to take revenge on Roller. As their leader, Emilia was at first sceptic of her joining their team, but said she'd talk with their coach about it, and that Ámbar shouldn't expect anything. Her coach greenlit Ámbar's joining, since they had had a member contused during the competition in Episode 60, and as such, were one member short. Even so, Emilia still wanted Ámbar to prove herself worthy of being a Slider, and made her mimic a couple advanced steps to test her abilities. Ámbar passed the test and Emilia welcomed her to The Sliders.

- In Season 2/Episode 79 Emilia helped Ámbar ruin Luna's skates by throwing them into the ocean and soaking them in water, thereby rendering them unusable.
